Jeff Capello (b. September 25th 1964 in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada) is a retired left winger who played two seasons in the American Hockey League for the Rochester Americans. Capello was drafted to the National Hockey League by the Buffalo Sabres in the 1986 NHL Supplemental Draft, second overall, after three seasons with the Vermont Catamounts in the Hockey East conference of the NCAA. He spent one more season with the University of Vermont in 1986-87 before joining the Sabres system. He played two seasons with the Rochester Americans, the Sabres farm team, registering 21 goals and 30 assists in 108 games before retiring.
