Retsujitsu is thrown into the ground, burning a deep hole into the land to absorb more Fire Nature chakra and replicate itself; the number of blades created is determined by both the time it is allowed to remain buried and the amount of Fire Nature chakra it is allowed to absorb. The user then beckons it forth from the earth, the blades bursting forth to damage a wide area with the amount of damage varying depending on the opponent’s distance from the center of the attack. The area affected by the attack steadily increases along with the number of blades produced, therefore time makes it more effective. The only drawbacks of this attack being the time needed to prepare an attack that affects a wide enough area, the user’s offensive capabilities are cut in half due to Retsujitsu being burie
