Shizu Mura was a lumber village in the Naishou province, mainly inhabited by descendants of the Morikawa tribe, which predated the Fall of the Kami. They had many entertaining legends and tales about the spirits and supernatural creatures of the Kawa Forest, in which the village was located. They were adamant about talismans made from materials of the forest and tied together to a scroll bearing a kanji for “protection”. A small stream run through the middle of the village.
