Although it has appeared in one film, a novel, and a few shows, the only one of which that relates to Halloween is the Malcolm in the Middle seventh season episode entitled "Halloween". The song references a short story by E. F. Benson called "The Bus-Conductor" with the lyric "I hear the chauffeur coming to my door/Says there's room for maybe just one more". This song, which was originally published in Pall Mall Magazine in 1906 is about a hearse driver and has spawned an urban legend about the tale as well as at least one adaptation to television with an episode of The Twilight Zone entitled "Twenty Two".
