Yaso Kobayashi (2 March 1846? - 29 May 1964) was a supercentenarian claimant who was considered by the pre-Koseki government of Japan to be the 2nd oldest Japanese person ever (after Shigechiyo Izumi), and the oldest Japanese woman ever, at the claimed age of 118 years, 88 days. She resided in Yamanashi prefecture. She died on 29 May 1964 of pneumonia, after having been paralysed by a stroke in January of that year.
