But it will cost me my job of working at my favorite place in the entire world, but it'll be all worth it. * Squidward: Oh boy oh boy oh boy * [Cuts to Sandy's treedome with the time machine ready.] * SpongeBob: Are you ready Patrick? * Patrick: Oh yeah I'm ready buddy! * Sandy: Now, remember fellas, you could screw up time if you do this. * SpongeBob: Oh, that's OK. * [They enter the time machine] * The Time Machine: "May 1ST 1999", is that correct? * SpongeBob: Succeed! * Patrick: Susseed! * [The two go to the first episode of the series. We see a coral reef under the sea. The camera zooms to initiate parallax scrolling, which reveals the city of Bikini Bottom. It continues zooming to show a brown rock, a Moai head, and a pineapple, which each contain inhabitants] * French Narrator: Ah, the sea... so fascinating. So wonderful. Here, we see Bikini Bottom, teeming with life. [Shows from left to right Patrick's, Squidward's, and SpongeBob's houses. Zooms in on SpongeBob's house] Home to one of my favorite creatures, SpongeBob SquarePants. Yes, of course he lives in a pineapple, you silly. [SpongeBob's alarm sounds; he wakes, but is unaffected by the annoying sound, and with a smile turns it off. He climbs from his bed to a ladder leading to his diving board] * Old SpongeBob: Today's the big day, Gary! * Gary: Meow. * Old SpongeBob: [Jumps on the diving board] Look at me, I'm... [Jumps up, and leaves his underwear behind] ...naked! * New Patrick: [Turns out New SpongeBob and Patrick are watching this out Old SpongeBob's window.] Oh, SpongeBob, is this seriously what you do in your spare time? * New SpongeBob: I used to, but remember Patrick this is 1999. * Old SpongeBob: [Continuing the episode] Gotta be in top physical condition for today, Gary. * Gary: Meow. * Old SpongeBob: [He goes inside his small gym that has a sign that says, "I Love Pain." Taking deep breaths, he prepares to lift a barbell that is balanced by two lightweight stuffed animals. He sticks out his chest, but almost passes out because he can barely lift it. He drops it, and it makes a 'squeak' noise] I'm ready! [Runs outside] I'm ready, I'm ready, I'm ready, I'm ready, I'm ready, I'm ready, I'm ready, I'm ready, I'm ready, I'm ready! [Patrick Star's rock tilts upwards with Patrick stuck to its underside] * Old Patrick: Go, SpongeBob! [Patrick falls] Whoa! [Crash!] * Old SpongeBob: [Runs down the street to the Krusty Krab] There it is. The finest eating establishment ever established for eating. The Krusty Krab, home of the Krabby Patty. With a 'Help Wanted' sign in the window! For years I've been dreaming of this moment! I'm gonna go in there, march straight to the manager, look 'im straight in the eye, [breaks the fourth wall and looks the audience in the eye] lay it on the line and... I can't do this! [He starts to run home but Patrick stops him] Uh, Patrick! * Old Patrick: Where do you think you're going? * Old SpongeBob: I was just... * Old Patrick: No you're not. You're going to the Krusty Krab and get that job! * Old SpongeBob: I can't, don't you see? I'm not good enough! * Old Patrick: Whose first words were "may I take your order"? * Old SpongeBob: Mine were. * Old Patrick: Who made a spatula out of toothpicks in wood shop? * Old SpongeBob: I did. * Old Patrick: [Grimaces and contorts twice while trying to come up with a good third line] Who's a, uh who's uhh. oh! who's a big yellow cube with holes? * Old SpongeBob: I am! * Old Patrick: Who's ready? * Old SpongeBob: I'm ready! * Old Patrick: Who's ready? * Old SpongeBob: I'm ready! * New Patrick: [New SpongeBob and Patrick show up] Who's NOT ready? * Old SpongeBob: I'm NOT ready! * Old Patrick: No SpongeBob, no! * New SpongeBob: Hello SpongeBob, its me SpongeBob! * New Patrick: Hello Patrick, its me SpongeBob! * New SpongeBob: We are you guy's from the future. * Old Patrick: I'm SpongeBob in the future? * New SpongeBob: The Krusty Krab is dangerous! * New Patrick: They sell greasy foods, Mr. Krabs kills customers, and chops off their flesh and feed it to hungry customers. * New SpongeBob: [Whispers to New Patrick] That's a little to far! * Old Patrick: Oh, OK, then never mind! * Old SpongeBob: Thanks guy's for letting us know! I've got to tell Squidward the disgusting things! * New SpongeBob: Oh, Squidward! * Old SpongeBob: What? * New SpongeBob: Hold on! [Runs to the Old Krusty Krab] * Old Squidward: [Cleaning graffiti of himself with the word Loser, sees SpongeBob, and sighs] Oh no, SpongeBob. What could he possibly want? [Squidward looks at the Help Wanted sign and runs inside] Hurry, Mr. Krabs, before it's too late, I gotta tell you.[interrupted by New SpongeBob] * New SpongeBob: Squidward, come here! * Old Squidward: Oh, no! [Old Squidward exits The Krusty Krab doors, and New SpongeBob and Patrick trap him into a crate. * New Patrick: I got him SpongeBob! * New SpongeBob: Ready, 1, 2, 3![SpongeBob blows a bubble to the crate causing the crate to go above the water. Bubble pops when the crate is above water.] * Old Squidward: Where am I? * New SpongeBob: Well, that was token care of! [Goes to return to Old SpongeBob] * Old SpongeBob: Oh, where were you two? * New SpongeBob: Oh, just doing some errands! * Old SpongeBob: Well, see 'ya around, I guess... * New SpongeBob: See you later me! * New Patrick: See you later me! * [They return to the time machine. They go back to 2019.] * Patrick: Finally, we're back! * Tom Elaine: We interrupt your broadcast to give you this news flash! For over 20 years ago, Criminals, SpongeBob and Patrick have been the suspect of killing Squidward Tentacles! If you spot these two anywhere, please call 911, thank you! * Patrick: Oh My God! Sandy has no Krabby Patties! * SpongeBob: I'm afraid we will get no more Krabby Patties Patrick. We killed Squidward! * Patrick: Quick let's pretend we didn't do nothing. * SpongeBob: No, we haft to get Old SpongeBob to get his job again. * Patrick: Ok, let's re-re-re-enter * The Time Machine: June 1ST 2002? * SpongeBob: Yes, wait no, NO! NOOO! * They travel to June 1ST 2002. * Patrick: SpongeBob, isn't this the day when we went door-to-door selling chocolate bars? * SpongeBob: I think so!
