  • The Aid Camp is a building in Tropico 3 and Tropico 4. It's constructed by issuing the Humanitarian Aid edict. The camp provides free food and healthcare to citizens, but the Nationalists consider getting these donations to be a sign of national weakness, thus lowering relations with them while the camp is present on the island. Aid camps are massive sources of crime; even a Police Station fully staffed by highly trained policemen won't be able to completely stop crime in the area around the camp. Because of this, aid camps should be built away from residential and tourist areas and should be replaced by domestic food and healthcare sources as soon as possible.
