The Hoogivzashit system, centered around a dying red dwarf star, was located on the far fringes of the Outer Rim, on the border of Wild Space. The system contained only a few planets, all of them rather unremarkable, and none of them populated or even habitable. Darth Generic attempted to prove himself worthy of the mantle of Sith Lord by destroying the largest planet in the system, which unfortunately for him wasn't much bigger than one of Coruscant's moons. The explosion was rather unremarkable, and no one even bothered to confirm the destruction.

Legends would later arise which claimed that the system housed the only access point to and from Oblivion that living beings could utilize without having to die first.
