| - The scrap yard is one of the area in Resident Evil 4.
- The Scrap Yard was an asteroid field named as such in the aftermath of the First Battle of Tovolo, in the Tovolo system. It was so dense that no capital ship could safely enter the Scrap Yard. Due to the density of the asteroid field, Vegas Station was unshielded, was densely lighted and hundreds of Lysian fighters defended it for the Wyldefire Compact, giving rise to the Second Battle of Tovolo. (Star Trek: False Vacuum: "Scrap Yard Vegas")
- The Scrap Yard can be found on the left hand navigation bar and through Sector 3. Run by Jimmeny, it is the place to go to buy and sell Scraps, and sell old Mech's, weapons, and armor.
* Sell Scraps - Scraps can be sold here in exchange for 2 credits per scrap.
* Buy Scraps - Scraps can be bought here for 4 credits per scrap.
* Scrap old Mech's - Scrap an unwanted Mech for 50% of its original cost. You can also salvage 50% of the Upgrade Center operations which have been invested in the Mech and save them to be used on a new Mech.
* Scrap old Weapons - Scrap an unwanted weapon and receive 50% of the cost and minerals invested into it.
* Scrap old Armor - Scrap an unwanted weapon and receive 50% of the cost and minerals invested into it.
- To buy a used plane at the Scrap Yard, tell the worker there that you would like to buy a used plane and he will present you with a list of used planes. The list will show the name of each plane (this can be changed after purchase), the cost of the plane, and its current maintenance condition. To customize planes bought at the Scrap Yard, you will have to return to Hangar 51.

| - To buy a used plane at the Scrap Yard, tell the worker there that you would like to buy a used plane and he will present you with a list of used planes. The list will show the name of each plane (this can be changed after purchase), the cost of the plane, and its current maintenance condition. Below the list is a dialog box providing more details about the selected plane. The first tab on the left (with the letter "i") will show the aircraft model, price and maintenance condition. The second tab from the left (with the faces) shows the required and maximum number of pilots and flight attendants needed for the plane to fly. The third tab from the left will provide the following information:
* Construction year
* Thrust - the amount of force exerted by the engines (in kilo-Newtons)
* Range - the maximum distance the plane can fly with maximum fuel (in kilometers)
* Speed (in kilometers per hour)
* Maintenance costs (presumably, per flight)
* Max. Fuel - the maximum amount of fuel the plane supports per flight (in liters)
* Consumption - its fuel consumption (in liters per hour)
* Number of seats To customize planes bought at the Scrap Yard, you will have to return to Hangar 51.
