Sergio Busquets Burgos (born 16 July 1988) is a Spanish professional footballer who plays for FC Barcelona and the Spanish national team, as a defensive midfielder. He was a relatively obscure player when he arrived in FC Barcelona's first team in July 2008, but eventually made a name for himself in a relatively short period of time, reaching the Spanish national team in less than one year after making his professional club debut. Busquets helped Spain win the 2010 World Cup and the Euro 2012 tournaments.

Znany przede wszystkich z odegrania znakomitej sceny dramatycznej podczas spektaklu Ligi Mistrzów na Camp Nou, który odbył się 28 kwietnia 2010 roku. Busquets zagrał rolę napastowanego fizycznie piłkarza, który po otrzymaniu ciosu w twarz pada na murawę, zakrywając ją w dłoniach. Niestety drugi aktor, Thiago Motta słabo odegrał swoją rolę, tylko lekko ocierając swoją rękę o twarz Busquetsa. Jednak Hiszpan tak znakomicie zaaranżował całą scenę, że sędziowie i krytycy myśleli, że rzeczywiście stała się mu krzywda. Również zgromadzona na widowni publika domagała się usunięcia ze spektaklu Thiago Motty, i tak też uczyniono. Drugą najbardziej znaną rolą dramatyczną Sergio jest upadek po zderzeniu z piłkarzem Real Madryt Marcelo w półfinale Ligi Mistrzów (27.04.2011). Dotknięty w ramię piłkarz Barcelony został – według scenariusza – porażony przez Brazylijczyka prądem o bardzo wysokim natężeniu co spowodowało niekontrolowane skurcze rąk, które zasłoniły sparaliżowaną po uderzeniu twarz. Aktor tym razem odegrał swoją rolę gorzej niż rok wcześniej i publika oraz telewidzowie dostrzegli niuanse, które zadecydowały o nie usuwaniu ze sceny Marcelo. Na szczęście teatr o wdzięcznej nazwie „FC Barcelona” posiada jeszcze kilku wspaniałych aktorów, którzy swoje role odegrali lepiej, dzięki czemu – ku uciesze gawiedzi – ze spektaklu został usunięty Pepe.
