| - ===Early Life===Distrust of Aliens
Dinesh Deol was living in New York City with his sister, Devi. While celebrating his mother's birthday, an explosion happened in their house as part of the Chitauri Invasion, with his mother Adhira Deol being one of the civilian casualties of the Battle of New York. Immediately following this traumatic event, his older sister Devi Deol began to view extraterrestrial life as a threat to humanity. During the Inhuman Outbreak, Dinesh and Devi decided that if either of them was to become an Inhuman, the other would kill them in order to prevent the spread.
Undergoing TerrigenesisTrapped inside the Cocoon
In September 2016, Dinesh was then exposed to the Terrigen Mist and, experiencing his family's worst nightmare, underwent Terrigenesis. Unable to break free of his cocoon and viewing the experience as cold and lonely, he heard his sister's voice telling him to fight and win, begging him not to come out scarred with the abilities they all feared. The Watchdogs, now being funded by Devi, overtook his social media accounts and ran his errands while Dinesh was trapped within the cocoon.
Awakening
When he and Devi went for a helicopter ride, she revealed that she was a supporter of the Watchdogs and intended to have him killed at an isolated point in the woods. Dinesh argued that he was unchanged because there was no visible or detectable changes to his biology. Devi told him to be calm and look at her, only to shoot him point blank in his center mass, keeping her promise, and have his body dumped in the nearest body of water. After sinking to the bottom, Dinesh underwent another Terrigenesis in response to his apparent death.

| - Magnetokinesis: Dinesh possesses the ability to visually see the electromagnetic spectrum to an unknown degree, but far greater than what is visible to an ordinary human or Inhuman. He is able to psionically control waves of the spectrum and render them tangible to certain effects. For example, using this ability he was able to instinctively, with no training, easily lift an automobile.
* Computer Interaction: Through his powers Deol can mentally interact with and intuitively understand the innate workings cybernetics and information.
* Electromagnetic Vision
* Electromagnetic Pulse Emission: Deol can emit a burst of electro magnetic spectrum energy which can knock out most electronics.
* Channeling Conduit: as his namesake suggests, Grid can act as a channeling device to siphon and redirect energy from. He once used this effect to take his home town of Mumbai and a couple of the other neighboring cities nearby to supply them with free energies.
