Al "King Kong" Kennedy is a monster of a man, with 472lbs attached to a 6'1 frame. Originally from the Bronx, Kennedy worked as a bouncer until in his mid 20s, when he happened to catch a NYCW show and saw that he could probably make more money as a wrestler. He started working the independent circuit after just a year of training, with his staggering size helping to hide his sloppy ring work. By late 2007 his name had reached the ears of FCW head booker Shawn Gonzalez who happened to be on the look out for monster heels to feed to local legend Puerto Rican Power, and so Kennedy was soon on his way south.
