| - Gabriel the Marine EP is the first official release from Indie Rock band, Gabriel the Marine. It was recorded, produced and engineered by Nick Zinnanti (Life Between Sleep) in the early spring of 2008, and was released in the late spring, early summer of 2008. Prior to this release, Gabriel the Marine released a sampler with the first two tracks unmastered, for free. The band later planned to get the tracks mastered by Sabella Studios, whose Grammy Award Winning Engineer had worked with bands like Say Anything, Public Enemy, The Hush Sound and others. When Sabella heard the songs, they were so impressed that he decided to master the record for free. However, being swamped with projects such as Tyson Ritter of the All American Rejects, the studio couldn't take time to work on the mastering, leaving the mastering process up in the air. It delayed the release of the EP, and was subsequently remixed by producer Nick Zinnanti instead. After this remix and more delay with the pressing process, eventually done by James Shields of Hopes Burns Records, the EP was finally pressed, and released at Sullivan Hall in NYC on November 22nd, 2008.
