Durante un summit al S.G.C. Nirrti usa un’avanzata tecnologia di variazione di fase per rendersi invisibile, e tentare di uccidere Cronos facendo ricadere la colpa su Teal’c, ma viene smascherata. Nirrti è ritenuta responsabile di aver ucciso quattro membri della S.G.C. e sterminato la popolazione del pianeta designato P8X-987, Hanka, dove ha passato anni conducendo esperimenti di genetica sulla popolazione per creare un Hok’taur, un ospite umano geneticamente avanzato, ritenendo che l'essere con capacità telepatiche e telecinetiche l’avrebbe resa più potente che mai. Quando la S.G.C. prende contatto con Hanka, Nirrti li uccide per paura che gli altri signori del sistema scoprano i suoi esperimenti e impianta una bomba al naquadah nell’unica sopravvissuta alla strage, una bambina di nome Cassandra, nel tentativo, fallito, di far saltare in aria lo Stargate della Terra. Prova il dispositivo sulla popolazione locale, per impararne il funzionamento e riesce persino a catturare due squadre SG (tra cui la SG1) e a provarlo su di loro. Quando la SG1 riesce a convincere le sue “cavie” che Nirrti non è una dea ma che in realtà li sta solo usando, le si rivoltano contro e la uccidono proprio grazie alle nuove capacità acquisite.

After Ra's death, she was able to regain much of her old territory in the power vacuum, and was thus reinstated as a System Lord. (RPG: "Living Gods: Stargate System Lords") While investigating the Lilin, Doctor Daniel Jackson found information that indicates Nirrti killed their creator, the Ancient Lilith. While Nirrti is stated to be one of Lilith's children in the information Daniel found, he thinks it more likely Nirrti was Lilth's protégé or had taken her as a host briefly to get access to her knowledge on genetics before killing her.
