Applying similar principles as the sonic cleanser, Sonic turrents project a burst of sonic energy to repulse most small to medium sized targets. Capable of blasting off the carapace of a Mutalisk, these weapons are effective in scattering swarms of enemies (Star Wars: Sonic weapons). * Can be equipped to any vehicle * Effective against small to medium air units * Effectiveness is reduced against larger, more heavily armored units * Requires large quanities of energy, and time to recharge after usage

  • Applying similar principles as the sonic cleanser, Sonic turrents project a burst of sonic energy to repulse most small to medium sized targets. Capable of blasting off the carapace of a Mutalisk, these weapons are effective in scattering swarms of enemies (Star Wars: Sonic weapons). Unfortunately, their effectiveness is reduced against more heavily armored fighters such as Wraiths. Another drawback worth noting is that turrents require large amounts of energy, so prolonged usage can quickly drain most systems of the vehicle its attached to (Gears of War: UV Turret; Command and Conquer: Sonic emitter). * Can be equipped to any vehicle * Effective against small to medium air units * Effectiveness is reduced against larger, more heavily armored units * Requires large quanities of energy, and time to recharge after usage
