The 1957-43 was a Grand National (now Sprint Cup) - Pacific Coast Late Model Series (now Camping World West Series) combination event held at California State Fairgrounds on September 8, 1957. Most of the elite drivers in the series, including eventual GN season champ Buck Baker, chose not to make the long trip west. Danny Graves was just fine with that, as he narrowly held off Marvin Porter for his only career win. Stats
