| Plot
| - While the Justice League manages to escape the exploding Watchtower by teleporting to Metropolis, Brainiac sends the satellite fragments to impact on the city in a bid to destroy them as Batman and Superman realize that Aquaman had been left on the satellite. While Wonder Woman, Green Lantern and Firestorm catch the smaller pieces of the satellite, Superman rescues Aquaman and attempts to stop the remain satellite fragment, however, due to Brainiac's efforts, he is only able to redirect the fragment's impact to the industrial area of Metropolis where Luthor had run to for shelter.
- As Luthor manages to escape he receives a communication meant for Atom from Batman, who is residing in the Fortress of Solitude.
- In the future, Luthor, Black Canary and Atom had managed to acquire Sinestro's power rings, enabling the confront Brainiac's forces, however, while Black Canary and Atom managed to secure the canister containing the stolen superpowers of Earth's heroes and villains, Brainiac was revealed to be in possession of Green Lantern Oan Power rings; defeating Luthor and causing the deaths of Black Canary and Atom and stopping the attack of Luthor's rebel group.
