Sunflower Fields is a dream-like part of the game that can be obtained after Chapter 5, when Lucas and co. fall off the helicopter. Lucas and Boney are the only playable characters in this area. It's believed that Lucas and co. met their untimely death until Chapter 7, where the game shows that Lucas's friends are all okay for the most part. Sunflower Fields is basically a short area, in which Hinawa appears, supposedly saving Lucas and Boney's lives. Lucas looks at a memory of when he was young, but no one can be seen. The fields arent much, except for a moment to look back at the game, when Hinawa's funeral was in procession. This, while is the shortest chapter in the game, is possibly the most emotional area in the game.
