Svante Thuresson is a Swedish jazz music musician and singer. He started his music career as a drummer before joining a band in the 1960s. However, he is best known for representing his home country at the Eurovision Song Contest 1966 in Luxembourg with Lill Lindfors, finishing as runners-up. In 2002, he released "Nya kickar", which rose the classic/jazz charts in Sweden. In 2007, Thuresson and Anne-Lie Rydé performed at Melodifestivalen 2007 as a duo for the opportunity to represent Sweden in the Eurovision Song Contest 2007 in Helsinki, Finland but were not selected.
