Consuelo Moreno-López (February 5, 1893 – November 13, 2004) was born in Northern Morocco (then under Spanish protectorate) to Spanish parents. She later emigrated to the United States in 1960. She died stateside, aged 111 years and 282 days, as the result of an adverse reaction to a flu shot. Moreno-López holds the longevity record for Morocco, which declared its independence in 1956.
