A perfect creature would not require such crutches, and could asses every situation on it's merits. But -- not even the Yozi are perfect, and so concessions to efficiency must be made. Likewise, a perfect Hierarchy would have no need of Malfean rage or Ophelian treachery, but such things must be allowed within the greater whole, for the sake of surviving the moment. There are dangers in such compromise however -- general rules, are addictive in their simplicity. Concepts that are meant to have no life beyond a way of solving problems take on their own twisted existence. Rage becomes a burning joy. Treachery becomes an end in of itself. Flawed judgment for the sake of emotion becomes divine will -- and perfection gives way to madness and chaos. A temporary strength can be found in such flaws, but the true power of the Hierarchy lies not in compromise, but in the purity of it's ideals. For it to ever be perfect, such imperfections must be burned away -- a cleansing flame that shall lay the Yozi's works to waste, so that only the Primordials remain. This charm permanently damages the soul and spirit of whoever takes it. In a process similar to the Wyld slowly wearing away the Lunar's shards after the Usurpation, the Infernal barrs his soul to the ravages of the demon city, and crudely carves away the impurities on it as against a great grindstone. Whoever takes it loses the capability to learn the charms of any Yozi but SWLIHN -- he retains any charms he already knows, but cannot learn any more. He can't even learn SWLIHN charms developed by non-Defilers, and must research them himself from scratch -- all connections between him and the other Yozi have been worn away. He must immediately take six BP's of flaws to reflect the traumatic experience of having one's very soul damaged in this way -- he receives no points for these flaws. These charm decreases the invocation cost of SWLIHN's charms by 3 motes, minimum 1.
