Matsu Mochiko of House Goseki was a servant of the Goseki family and its last member. After Doji Retsu seized Toshi Ranbo destroying in 1118 the Goseki family, vassal of the Matsu, Mochiko was the only survivor. She left the battle with her own young son and a young girl as well. He sold the Goseki's Daisho, the Ancestral Weapon of his defunct family, to a corrupt Shinjo, for enough koku to live comfortably for the rest of their lives. Later the son, Goseki Itto, became the only remmant of his family, and was known as the ronin Itto.
