Samuel Scales (b. 1969) was an internet thief, and a client of defense attorney Mickey Haller. In 2002, Scales was arrested by Roy Wunderlich for selling stolen credit card numbers. In 2005, he was arrested and convicted for stealing credit card numbers again, this time through the fraudulent disaster relief website SunamiHelp.com. In April of 2013, Scales was arrested for fraud after he created "a phony website and Facebook page to solicit donations costs of a child killed in a school massacre in Connecticut."
