When the blades come into contact with an opponent or pierce an object which contains a suitable amount of moisture, the ice will spread steadily through the opponent/object and if left unchecked will freeze the victim completely. While the technique is extremely useful, only two of these projectiles may be in existence at once, severely limiting the effectiveness of the technique.
