Lt General Harbaksh Singh (1913 – 1999) was a senior Indian Army officer who played a key role during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1965. He was awarded the Padma Vibhushan, Padma Bhushan and Vir Chakra. He was the General-Officer-Commanding-in-Chief of the Western Army Command from 1964 to 1969. He successfully led western command against the Pakistan Army along the entire border and displayed outstanding leadership. Captain Amarinder Singh of Patiala served him as his ADC.
