There is a beach near Ffarquhar Station called Ffarquhar Beach, It use to be quite a muddy beach until 1953 and filled with sand. During the building of Ffarquhar Quarry in 1953 when Toby arrived to the Island, It was quite useful when the line to the beach was created because there are a lot of rocks in the water that was useful to help build the Quarry. Not long after Ffarquhar Quarry had finished being built the line to the beach was demolished, Although the beach still remains.
