S.U.R.V.I.V.E. is a book written by Bobby Dagen who wanted to tell his experience of surviving a Jigsaw trap although he was never in a trap. It was the idea of Bobby's best friend Cale to tell everyone that he was a survivor just to get money. Despite it was all a lie the story made him rich. During an autograph session Bobby met John Kramer without knowing him being Jigsaw. John degraded him and confronted him with the lies but Cale told him to go on. Before doing so Jigsaw gave Bobby the book cover because "now they know each other." The title of the book is put together by the titles of it's chapters.
