  • Denny Dotherty, born on November 29th, 1940, Halifax, Nova Scotia, was the storyteller for Theodore Tugboat. He was the former band member of the American-based group, The Mamas and Papas throughout the 1960's. As production of Theodore Tugboat began, Denny Doherty was chosen as the narrator. He played The Harbour Master, and did all the voices. After Theodore Tugboat ended, Denny appeared in various television programs, most notably in the Season 7 finale of the showcase series Trailer Park Boys, where he played a American police oficer named Agent Ryan Chalkneck, which was filmed shortly before his death, and dedicated to him.
