Rotnose was a weasel in Badrang the Tyrant's army. He was superstitious and helped to spread the "fever rumor" started by Keyla. Rotnose and Fleabane were told to sing a song to keep the fever at bay. He participated in the battle between Badrang and Tramun Clogg. This made it easier for Martin the Warrior, Felldoh, and Brome to escape with Laterose of Noonvale and Grumm Trencher. Later, during the Rambling Rosehip Players visit, Rotnose and the other vermin watched in amazement as Ballaw de Quincewold performed magic. After Druwp alerted Badrang that the slaves were escaping, Rotnose and the rest of the horde were sent to get them, while Clogg tried to stop the performers.
