General James Edward Moore (November 29, 1902 – January 28, 1986) was a United States Army four-star general who served as the U.S. High Commissioner of the Ryukyus after World War II. Moore graduated from the United States Military Academy in 1924 and served in the Army until his retirement in 1963.
