High King of the Tela (Telamonese: Högkonung av Tela) was the title of the reigning monarch of the Five Kingdoms of Telamon. The title first came into use in 3311 when Michael Victor II of the House of Kansar was crowned by the Theognosian Arch-Patriarch Chretien I at the Cathedral of Telapolis, with the blessing of the Telamonese Parliament. After almost a century of rule, the House of Kansar abidcated on behalf of the House of Vunt and its first High King of the Tela was Felix I Vunt, descended from the ancient Counts of Vunt, from whom the all Vunt monarchs claim their right to rule. The title was replaced by that of King of Telamon in 3385.
