Tings are small, blue orbs that resemble the Great Protoon and were used in Rayman. If one hundred (fifty in the DSi version) of these are collected, Rayman is rewarded with an extra life. Throughout the game, The Magician has prepared special minigames that require ten tings to play. Rayman, if victorious, is rewarded with an extra life on the first try which shows him hold the 1-Up Trophy of himself. Succeeding tries are used to beat past times and earn a few tings in the process.
