| - Montsa (Russ. Мончегорск, SkSaam. Monće) is a Uralican city in Sapmi county, located on the shores of the Imandra Lakes. The name "Montsa" is actually the Finnish name for the city, with "Monchegorsk" having been the former name, derived from "Monce," the word for "beautiful" in the now-extinct Akkala Saami language. Akkala's closest relative, Skolt, retains this name for the city. Formerly one of the most polluted towns in the Former Soviet Union region, mass cleanups and industrial upgrades sponsored by the Uralican government have greatly improved the quality of life in the area.

Akkala's closest relative, Skolt, retains this name for the city. The area is best known for mining and non-ferrous metallurgy, with the two most common metals in the area being copper and nickel. However, because of copper production, the area is also a well-known producer of electrical equipment, especially electrical wire, and also, hi-tech consumer goods. Formerly one of the most polluted towns in the Former Soviet Union region, mass cleanups and industrial upgrades sponsored by the Uralican government have greatly improved the quality of life in the area.
