| Synopsis
| - Continued from last issue.... The Spawn of Frankenstein is trying to save the life of a woman about to be sacrificed by a cult that worships a snake god. However, the jilted lover of the woman wants to kill the Spawn for interrupting his attempt for forcibly have his way with the woman.
The monster disarms the man and saves the woman before she can be sacrificed by the cult. However in fleeing, the limbering monster accidentally kills her when his awkward limbering causes her to break her neck when her head strikes a tree. Feeling awful, the monster takes her to the local town, where the locals blame the monster for her death and try to run him out of town.
Meanwhile, the cults leader, witnessing the spectacle, tells his followers that their master has spawned them a demon. This story is continued next issue...
- When Willie Limmick apparently pulls out a gun and holds an entire plane hostage for a ransom due to his split personality known as Joseph Gantz. However, the Phantom Strangers intervention ends with Willie being taken into police custody. The jury presiding over Willie's case believes that the man suffers from a split personality, however the Phantom Stranger warns them not to be so quick to believe his story.
Visiting Willie in his prison cell, the Stranger listens to Willie's stories of his various troubles with the law which he blames on his split personality. When the Phantom Stranger "conjures" up an image of Joseph Gantz. Seeing the horrible creature, Willie confesses that he made the whole thing up. In spite of all this, the courts cannot make a decision and the judge demands a retrial.
