| - XL-99 was an assassin droid built and used by the Seperatists during the Clone Wars. However, after completing a mission, he found his base of operations had been destroyed, and he had no master to go back to. Without further orders, XL-99 improvised on existing commands and began hunting down rich, powerful, and/or influencial people at random. He successfully carried out his self-induced 'missions' for a number of years, becoming very adapt at remaining hidden from the public and addressing self-maintanence needs. Captain Leth is sure to press XL-99 to his limits.

However, after completing a mission, he found his base of operations had been destroyed, and he had no master to go back to. He successfully carried out his self-induced 'missions' for a number of years, becoming very adapt at remaining hidden from the public and addressing self-maintanence needs. However, XL-99 was captured while attempting to assassinate an Imperial Governor. Performing a thorough examination on the mysterious droid, the Governor's scientists discovered much of XL-99's history, and were suitably impressed. The Governor chose not to wipe the assassin droid's remarkably developed memory, and instead had his technicians insert only minor behavioral modifications to ensure XL-99's loyalty. A new agent of incredible power was now at his disposal. However it wasn't long before Captain Malcom Leth, ever watchful for such shadow weapons, became aware of XL-99's presence. Leth began making inquiries and gathering intelligence on both the Governor and the droid, but when his top Aide, Wassim Dice, was killed, Leth went right for the throat. He made the Governor an offer he could not refuse, and soon found himself in possession of the deadly droid. Captain Leth is sure to press XL-99 to his limits.
