- World Chess Champion is the highest title possible to earn in chess. The official World Chess Champions are as follows (in order from first to latest): Wilhelm Steinitz, Emanuel Lasker, Jose Capablanca, Alexander Alekhine, Max Euwe, Mikhail Botvinnik, Vassily Smyslov, Mikhail Tal, Tigran Petrosian, Boris Spassky, Bobby Fischer, Anatoly Karpov, Garry Kasparov, Vladimir Kramnik, and Vishwanathan Anand.
- World Champion is the Celestial Weapon for Wakka, obtained from talking to the barkeeper in the cafe in Luca after coming in at least third in a blitzball tournament, or win five blitzball games. She will ask the player to see the Celestial Mirror, and if obliged, will give the weapon. As with all Celestial Weapons, it starts with No AP as its default ability, and when leveled up with the Jupiter Crest which is obtained in the Besaid Aurochs locker room, gains Double Overdrive. After being powered up by the Jupiter Sigil (which is obtained randomly with 50% chance as prize in a blitzball league once the player wins all three of Wakka's Overdrives in previous competitions), it instead has the abilities Break Damage Limit, Triple Overdrive, Double AP, and Evade & Counter.
