| - Kelyans are a humanoid reptilian race. They had grayish scaly skin, long sinuous bodies, and were incapable of smiling. In 2253, at least one Kelyan, Lieutenant junior grade Endel, served in Starfleet. (TOS novel: Vulcan's Glory)
- Kelyan "Kel" was born in Ruusan in 246 ABY.We have just a few clues about the early childhood of the Jedi, through his present "visions". During his first eight years of life, Myath, a female togruta of an unknown Jedi Order caught the strong force-sensitivity of the youngling, deciding to grow him to let guide his first steps in the way of the Force.During this period Kelyan lived in Ruusan, happily, trying to know in a primitive manner his sensitivity, without any kind of particular consciousness.Kel, as youngling, always considered Myath as his sister. She, for love, never told him the truth.Fearing the fact that he would have suffered, knowing that she wasn't his Sister, she decided to grow him until he would have reached the age to understand and to be conscious of his being.
- Kelyan was a Twi'lek bounty hunter who worked on a team with Clargod, Dee'Hars, and Kiimo. In 21 BBY, the group took several contracts from Riboga the Hutt, who was reestablishing his criminal dominance over the Cularin system. These jobs brought them into contact with the so-called Heroes of Cularin, a group who took several missions for Senator Wren. Their first encounter was on neutral terms, but as Riboga suffered setback after setback at the outsiders' hands, he eventually tasked the bounty hunters with taking out the "Heroes"—and making them suffer in the process.

That day, would have been the beginning of his initiation to the "Unknown" Jedi Order. Ennius-Ak-Narik, in reality, was force-controlled by the Spirit of Darth Naevius. A fallen Sith, who's origins were just right in Ruusan. His goal was to conquer the trust of Kelyan, to let him follow the way of the Dark Aspect of the force.Myath's refuse destroyed the plans of Ennius-Ak-Narik. Kel run towards the T-65 X Wing Interceptor used during the Seventh Ruusan's War.The cockpit opened itself, letting enter the young one inside while Myath faced Darth Naevius and his apprentice, Darth Eriathis. After the engines started to power on, the Interceptor moved itself flying away. As Myath perished Kelyan felt mixed emotions. More than a cry, more than we could consider suffering. His force power, growing strong, worked as a sort of magnet, guiding the Interceptor towards the Tythan system, in the Tython planet using the hyperspace velocity through a rudimental Hyperdrive, installed on the small-sized ship. And so, the youngling, reached Tython.

Their first encounter was on neutral terms, but as Riboga suffered setback after setback at the outsiders' hands, he eventually tasked the bounty hunters with taking out the "Heroes"—and making them suffer in the process. Kelyan and her team set up an elaborate plan. They first forced the targets to crash-land on Holador, a remote world with little in the way of civilization. There, Kelyan befriended a primitive tribe of Squibs and did her best to persuade them that the Cularin "Heroes" were dangerous villains. When the targets arrived at he village, however, they managed to establish their innocence. This was only one setback of many on the job, which ended a complete failure. Kelyan was a beautiful woman and a smooth talker. Unlike the other members of her team, she carried a blaster only as a last resort. Her wiles were much subtler: quick wits and a sharp tongue.
