Victor first fell into galactic events, and out of his old life, at the age of ten. Already hardened by genetic manipulation and mistreatment as a youth, he was basically a pre-built killer. A mining pick to his captor's skull freed him from that prison, while a quick search led to the keys for his first spacecraft, a small shuttle that he ditched as soon as he found something better.
