Titon was the name given to the female Dorumaan leviathan calf, born in the oceans of Dorumaa around the time of the Battle of Naboo. Many beings hoped that Titon and its sibling, Jessel, had been simply abandoned by their mother after their birth, but it was later learned that the mother had died in labor. The Alliance for the Creation of Habitable Environments monitored the growth and development of the calves, hoping to preserve what they believed were the only two leviathans left in Dorumaa's seas. In order to keep track of Titon's movements, researchers attached a tracking beacon to her skin.
