The morning air was flowing lavishly over a grandstand in the urban city of Edirne as the leaders of the Socialist Action Front signed the charter of the new nation, to be formed out of the ashes of Bulgaria. Since that time the Republic has begun gaining much support from the local populace. In the first few days many trade connections were formed with the communist republic, the most notable to a great friend, The Glorious workers state of Guyen. However the trade agreement that made Gondalyn truly powerful was from the Yogi Republic. The ruler Big Yogi offered to send foreign aid in exchange for a trade agreement. The aid helped the newborn communist republic begin accumulating technology and went a long way towards infrastructure. Perhaps the greatest gift however was that the foreign aid allowed for a proper army to be built. The Commander of the Red Army, or the "Lord of War" was relieved to have this aid as on August 12 a tin-pot dictatorship known as Ti-Furious was lead by its fearsome leader PixxyNixxy into attacking our workers state. Despite losing the initial battles the forces of Ti-Furious continued their slaughter and finally reaped some reward in the fourth attack. However the second day of hostility was the a day of assault for Gondalyn. Having reorganized the armed forces (despite the government having fallen into anarchy) the Red Army crossed into Ti-Furious and ripped apart the army of PixxyNixxy. As of today (August 14) the third assault launched by Gondalyn was a Victory as were the two previous. It has been said that we, the workers of this glorious state, cannot lose this war and Ti-Furious will be forced under our boot heel. The last half of the second day of conflict was a worrisome time for the Red Army as a large scale planned attack was repulsed effectively by the forces of Ti-Furious. The losses far outweighed the gains in this strike.
