The other main operator in West Yorkshire is Keighley & District, who are the main operator in Keighley. The company is owned by Transdev, who also own Burnley and Pendle, Harrogate and District and Yorkshire Coastliner, which provide services into West Yorkshire from neighbouring areas of Lancashire and North Yorkshire. There are several independent operators based in West Yorkshire, who run a combination of tendered and commercial bus services, including Geldards, M Travel, Stotts Coaches, TJ Walsh (also known as Halifax Bus Company) and TLC Travel. There are also several operators based outside of West Yorkshire who either run services wholly within the area or services which start from outside the area. In addition to the three Transdev companies, there is another First Group company who operates in West Yorkshire, First Greater Manchester, who run the 184 service from Manchester to Huddersfield via Oldham, which was previously jointly operated with First West Yorkshire but now a wholly First Greater Manchester service. Other companies include Connexionsbuses, Rosso, Stagecoach in Hull, Stagecoach Yorkshire, Tates Travel and York Pullman.
