| - The Occultist is a superhero in the Dark Horse Universe.
- Occultist Skillsets: Domination, Tarot, Occultism The occultists are the chaotic students, who originated from the City of Ashtan. Serving the chaos, occultists can perform a large variety of tasks, be that theft or pursuit of their enemies.
- Prefix Title earned by gaining +40,000 (Ally) faction with the Dismal Rage in North Freeport.
- The skillset of the Occultist is called Onmyōdō, with the different classifications of skills being sub-sets of it, or skill descriptions. The skillset's fundamental abilities consist of inscribing glyphs, "programming" spells into them. The Occultist is unable to cast spells simply from his mind, or from saying a magical formula - the spell has to be written in full, then triggered. Onmyōdō does not allow for remote effects - if a specific target is to be affected, he, she or it has to come into direct contact with the magical writing - physically or mentally. While glyphs can conceivably be written with anything that leaves visible traces and on any surface such traces can be left on, in practice, the success or failure of these spells is so much dictated by the materials used in writing

The skillset is shared with the Miko class, but while the she uses protective and supportive glyphs, the Occultist uses glyphs that are only insofar protective in that his control over evil spirits is a good defense against them - but also a far more effective weapon against his enemies.
