- Thot je vysoká vojenská hodnost používaná v Breenské konfederaci a důstojník s touto hodností má i jistou politickou moc. V podstatě odpovídá hodnosti generála či cardassijského legáta. V roce 2375 se vůdcem Breenské konfederace pod nadvládou Dominionu stal thot Gor, který byl po druhé bitvě u Chin'toky nahrazen thotem Pranem. - Thot is an auxiliary language formed specifically to be easy to learn for those speakers with the capacity to say the letters. Inspired by both Icelandic and Esperanto, Thot incorporates the /ts/ from Esperanto and the /θ/ from English. The intention behind this was to create a language that was not only easy to learn, but soft and airy in its pronunciations. With that in mind, the Thot language features the softest vowel and consonant sounds its creator was capable of pronouncing. Thot further borrows English's simplicity in noun declensions, rejecting gender entirely and only changing nouns slightly due to number.
