The 1892 presidential election of Rio Blanco took place on 1 August 1892, to elect the president of Rio Blanco. In this election, the same methods as in the past elections were used, but with a modification: * In the first round, 100 Major Councillors (compared to 50 in the past) voted; * In the second round, 132,000 people voted. The election saw the Conservative candidate Hugh Carlson victorious; he is one of the two members of the Carlson family to reach presidency (the other one is his grandson Bruce, elected in 1956). This election is also the first to feature the Social Assembly.
