  • The aethyrs are the different worlds of the Enochian system of magick. In this system, there are apparently 30, which can be traveled to using the 19th Key or Call of Enochian Magick. Each of the 30 Aethyrs has a name, which is three letters in length. They were most famously described by Aleister Crowley in The Vision and the Voice. The book is a record of Crowley's trek through Northern Algeria, from November 23rd to December 20th 1909, during which he summoned the Aethyrs through the use of a great golden topaz set into a wooden Calvary Cross (painted vermilion and inlaid with a mystical design.)
