- Buried deep in the body of every Specialist, a killswitch is a tiny silicon device implanted by Specialist makers to ensure that those Specialists that malfunction can be put down with a minimum of effort. This is accomplished by releasing a chemical in the Specialist's bloodstream that kills them within seconds. Controlled by a remote radio controller, both the killswitch and the controller have failsafes that trigger the deadly reaction if their inner workings are disturbed. Few rebellious Specialists have actually managed to remove their killswitch because of this sensitivity, and most are content to have possession of their own controller.
- The killswitch are various mechanisms integrated into augmented individuals by Majestic 12 and the Illuminati. It is primarily used as a means to control, and swiftly terminate, compromised individuals.
- In musical instruments such as guitars and basses, a killswitch is a switch in the form of a pushbutton or toggle switch that, when used, kills the guitar's signal. It has been used by a number of players of which the most famous are Tom Morello, and Buckethead. __TOC__
- Killswitch (born Ryan Andre James in Edmonton, Alberta), previously known by his ring name Ryan James, is a Canadian e-wrestler currently working for Lords of Pain Wrestling (LPW) on it's Insanity brand. His career caught on for his role in the Fun Police, playing the ultra-serious companion to the idiotic misadventures of Tromboner Man, RaTo, and Daniel Oakley. After the group fell apart, he struck out on his own as a singles competitor, becoming a fugitive against the Canadian government. He returned to LPW in 2014, having been converted to the The Prophecy of Violence by Sean Jensen.
- Little is known of Killswitch, outside of government agencies few even know his name, Steven Livell. He was raised in the Killhouse, there he became a weapon of mass destruction in his own right and met several people he would later come to call on as allies if not friends. Being a black ops Mercenary little to nothing is known of his missions, only that he is extrememly reliable and preferred by his employers.
- Killswitch is the S4 Premiere of The End of My Soul, this episode was directed by Michael Shanks. This episode Fox Mulder returns as a ghost to talk to SpongeBob. This season marks the return of Mr. Krabs.
