As there were issues within Tenis Club, Aslan asked him to create a company club for advertising purposes. Tucker agreed and sought to recruit the best players in the country to play for Telefon Club. In the 1931-32 season, the club participated in the Bucharest Championship. In 1933 and 1934, they fell to Tenis Club in the Romanian Championship final, losing narrowly in both seasons. Telefon Club defeated TCR in the Bucharest Championship in 1934-35, ending the club's streak of five consecutive titles, and went on to win their first championship. Telefon Club was eliminated in the semifinals by HC Bragadiru Bucharest, composed of many former TCR players, the following year. They claimed their second title in 1936-37, emerging as champions from a three-way tie at the top of the table based on goal differential. In 1937-38, the national championship was staged in Cernauti. With Telefon Club leading SS Muresul Târgu Mures 5-0 in their first match, there was a disruption caused by unruly spectators, which led to the game being halted and Telefon Club's management electing to leave Cernauti and the tournament. This ceded the title to Dragos Voda Cernauti on forfeit. After several unsuccessful appeals, Dragos Voda retained the championship. They qualified for the national championship, which was cancelled, in 1939. On November 15, 1939, the telephone company ceased sponsorship for all sports. The club was dissolved with several players joining the new Rapid Bucharest outfit.
