The Liberation of Raventree Hall is a military engagement in the War of the Five Kings. It is part of the Northern campaign to liberate the Riverlands from the Lannister occupation. Following the liberation of Riverrun at the Battle of the Camps, Robb Stark tasks one of his commanders, Lord Greatjon Umber, with the expulsion of Lannister forces from the lands of the Riverlords while he invades the Westerlands. Umber's first liberates Raventree Hall, the ancestral seat of House Blackwood, and then moves to restore Stone Hedge to House Bracken, thus forcing the Lannisters to fall back to Harrenhal and cutting them off from Casterly Rock.
