| - The Project was One Drop's first yo-yo ever produced, designed by Colin Leland. It has a unique "Projection Profile", consisting of a series of very thin grooves going up the catch zone of the yo-yo for better grinding. It was also the first yo-yo to be both soda-blasted and anodized. Along with those unique features, it also has a steel hex bolt on each side, held in place with rubber, holding the axle instead of the yo-yo itself being threaded for a bolt. This axle design lowered the yo-yo's production costs, because they did not have to tap the yo-yo half for threads. Also, the hex nut axle was a major selling point of the yo-yo, having been described as being "indestructible."

The durability of the Project was put to the test by many people in the yo-yo community. Most notable is the mutilated Project of Ben Gates. Along with that, a member of the YoYoNation Forum had shot his Project with a handgun. While the former Project is playable and loved to this day, the latter one was rendered useless and utterly destroyed. In Fall 2015, One Drop released a modernized version of the Project, named the Rebirth, as a signature series yo-yo of One Drop player team member Ryosuke Kawamura.
