In Japanese mythology, Ichimokuren is the one-eyed god of wind and storms as well as the god of smithery. He is often invoked by farmers during droughts to bring the rain, or worshipped by blacksmiths to keep good skill and business. When angered, Ichimokuren's powerful winds can cause fearsome tornadoes, blowing the roofs off houses and knocking over ships at sea.
